Gunderson Dettmer has been named a finalist in four categories for the 17^th Annual M&A Advisor Awards: Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year ($100M-$250M); Private Equity Deal of the Year ($10M-$50M); M&A Deal of the Year ($25M-$50M) and Information Technology Deal of the Year ($10-$50M).

Gunderson Dettmer has been selected from the nominees in the first stage of evaluation and the independent panel of judges will now focus their attention on the task of selecting the ultimate award winners. The firm was recognized for two transactions: the acquisition of Booker Software by Mindbody; and the acquisition of Direct Line, Inc. by an investor group led by Guardian Capital Partners.

The team representing Booker Software was led by corporate partner Steve Baglio, M&A partner Andrew Luh, executive compensation and benefits partner Lisa Gorrin, IP partner Aaron Rubin, and tax partner Mark Foster with Hilary Adams, Cassie Averbuch, Ariel Choi, Deidre Kalenderian, Lily Kim, Emily Lieberman and Jaime Narayan.

The team representing Direct Line was led by corporate partner Bennett Yee, tax partner Mark Foster, IP partner Gina Marek, and special counsel Michael Richman, with Michael Williams, William Haynes, Lily Kim, Kelly Trimble, and Laurel Fedder.

The winners will be announced at the 17^th Annual M&A Advisor Awards Gala on Tuesday, November 6^th at the New York Athletic Club in New York.
