Silvia Huang is a corporate attorney, specializing in capital markets, cross-border investment, high-tech regulations and compliance. She participated in a number of U.S. and Hong Kong initial public offerings (IPOs) for China-based issuers and represented companies and financial institutions in other capital markets transactions. She has experience in advising clients with regard to their SEC reporting obligations and corporate governance matters. Her experience also includes advising companies operating in the technology and life sciences sectors, guiding them through complex legal and regulatory environments cross the borders.
Prior to joining Gunderson Dettmer, Silvia Huang worked at the Beijing offices of major U.S. law firms.
Silvia holds a J.S.D. Degree and an LL.M. Degree from Cornell Law School, where she was awardee of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. She graduated from Peking University Law School with an LL.B. Degree.
