In addition, the PitchBook database confirms that Gunderson Dettmer handled more venture and growth equity transactions in India and Southeast Asia during the third quarter of 2021 than any other law firm in the world.

Within the reporting period, deals handled by Gunderson Dettmer included approximately 54 financings and nearly $9.3 billion raised for the most promising companies in the region – on pace for a significant increase compared to 2020.

Gunderson Dettmer represented Asia Partners as it led the $65.7 million Series C financing of Doctor Anywhere, a digital health platform.

Gunderson Dettmer represented Insignia Venture Partners as it led the $19.7 million Series A financing of Honest Bank, a Singapore-headquartered fintech company with operations in Indonesia

Gunderson Dettmer represented Lightspeed Ventures as it led the $11 million Series A financing of Nas Academy, a Singapore-based education platform 

Gunderson Dettmer represented Monk’s Hill Ventures as an investor in the pre-Series A financing of CoderSchool, a Vietnam-based coding-focused edtech platform.

Gunderson Dettmer represented Yellow.ai, a conversational AI platform provider, in its $78 million Series C financing
