Gunderson Dettmer represented client Monk’s Hill Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in early-stage Southeast Asia tech companies, in its pre-Series A financing of CoderSchool, a Vietnam-based coding-focused edtech platform. CoderSchool plans to use the funding to create more educational content and technology infrastructure for its technical education programs which guarantee employment upon graduation.

In the announcement of the transaction, co-founder and CEO of CoderSchool said, “Coding is the future.
