Brian is of counsel in Gunderson Dettmer’s San Francisco office. He represents emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles and VC funds that invest in those companies. His practice encompasses all areas of corporate and securities law, including company formation and financing, corporate restructurings, debt transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, investor-side financings, and public offerings.
Brian is a member of the firm’s corporate group as well as the firm’s Latin America practice group. He brings extensive knowledge of the market, which he uses to provide practical, real-world advice to his clients. Brian also has deep experience on advising clients on international cross-border corporate structuring and VC financings. Brian represents a wide variety of technology firms, including enterprise, networking, financial, e-commerce, consumer internet, education, mobile communications, and internet security companies, as well as several top-tier venture capital firms.
Brian brings Gunderson’s industry-leading experience representing high-growth companies in their financings, IPOs, and M&A transactions to every engagement, including the firm’s proprietary knowledge and tools.
Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and Coco (their Goldendoodle). He also enjoys traveling and playing golf.
Brian is a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and the University of California, Berkeley.
