Christel H. Moreno

Christel represents emerging growth companies throughout their life cycle, from international reorganizations, early-stage financings and corporate governance, through late-stage financings and M&A. She also represents the venture capital funds supporting and investing in these companies. Her practice focuses on the Latin America region. Christel is a co-founding partner of our São Paulo office where she spends most of her time. Prior to becoming a New York qualified attorney, she practiced law in Brazil as a corporate associate for several years.

Recent transactions handled by Christel included several early to mid-stage company side financings by Seedz, Contabilizei, NG Cash, Quaddro, Nextron, and many others, as well as M&A activity by Warren, SproutFi, Seedz and others. Christel also represents VC firms on their investments in Latin America from time to time, including Valor Capital, Quona, and NXTP. Christel has been a speaker in venture capital conferences and startup workshops and has published articles and interviews regarding venture capital-related topics in outlets like Bloomberg Linea, Exame, startups.com and others.
