Prosus Ventures Leads Mevo’s New R$95 Million Financing

Gunderson Dettmer represented Prosus Ventures as the lead investor in the R$95 million financing of Mevo, a Brazil-based startup specializing in digital prescriptions for medications and tests. 

The company will use the new funding to expand its team and accelerate growth to reach more patients and providers. 

“Over the past 18 months, we’ve delivered on the business plan agreed upon with the shareholders, doubling all of the company’s numbers,” said Pedro Dias, Mevo co-founder and CEO, in a Brazil Journal article profiling the transaction. “This funding round reinforces our strategy.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Christel Moreno and included Eduarda Tavares.
