Jay DelMonico Joins Gunderson Dettmer as a Debt Financing Partner

Gunderson Dettmer is pleased to announce that Jay DelMonico has joined the firm as a Partner in its Boston office. DelMonico has over 20 years of experience leading complex commercial finance transactions in a variety of industries, including technology and life sciences.

“Jay’s broad debt financing and restructuring experience will deepen the support we offer company clients firm-wide as they grow,” said Gunderson Dettmer’s Boston Office Leader and founding partner Jay Hachigian. “Further, with experience advising on cross-border financing transactions, he adds to the services we offer internationally.” 

Jay's practice involves structuring and negotiating loan facilities, including asset-based and cash flow loans, leveraged buy-out transactions, multi-bank syndicated facilities, term loan facilities, and other debt facilities. He also has extensive experience with the workout and restructuring of troubled credits, including in connection with the enforcement of secured creditor rights and remedies under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code and court proceedings.

Jay joins the firm from Greenberg Traurig, where he was a Shareholder. He joins Gunderson Dettmer following two other recent lateral partners, executive compensation partner Romica Singh in New York, and emerging companies partner Heidi Walas in Silicon Valley.
