Dragoneer Leads Ramp’s $1.85 Billion Financing at $60 Billion Valuation
Gunderson Dettmer represented Dragoneer Investment Group as the lead investor in the $1.85 billion primary financing of Ramp, valuing the company at $60 billion.
Ramp’s financial infrastructure helps companies save time and money on every dollar they spend by streamlining approvals, processing payments, and closing the books automatically. Ramp now generates more than $2 billion in annualized revenue and announced the financing alongside plans to expand its AI capabilities to continue to help businesses save time and money.
"Ramp is the kind of company we love to back at Dragoneer. It's already a market leader with a deep, durable moat, and it's still growing incredibly fast," said Christian Jensen, Partner at Dragoneer, in the announcement of the transaction. "In just a few years, Ramp has become a much broader financial operations platform, with AI deeply embedded in how the company builds and operates. We believe Ramp is well on its way to becoming one of the defining companies of this era."
The Gunderson deal team was led by Ryan Purcell and Jeff Stricker and included Michael Santos, Aaron Rubin, Gabe Marx, Jon Rodriguez, and David Koenig.
