Gunderson Dettmer ranked sixth for Investor Legal Counsel in The Deal’s PIPEs League Tables Q3 2026, recognizing the firm’s work advising investors on private investments in public equity (PIPEs). The Deal's quarterly tables cover PIPEs of at least $1 million announced during the calendar year and rank firms by number of placements.

The ranking signals a rapid rise for the firm’s investor-side public company financing practice. Led by partner Keith Scherer and associate John Maciejewski, the team has quickly become a go-to advisor for PIPE investors putting capital to work in public companies.
