HotelTonight acquired by Airbnb

Gunderson Dettmer represented HotelTonight, the popular application for last-minute hotel bookings, in its acquisition by Airbnb.

After Airbnb’s announcement of the deal last month, Shank told TechCrunch, “We started HotelTonight because we knew people wanted a better way to book an amazing hotel room on-demand, and we are excited to join forces with Airbnb to bring this service to guests around the world. The Gunderson Dettmer deal team was led by Hozefa Botee and Andrew Luh and included David Sharrow, Mark Foster, Michael Richman, Hilary Adams, Jack Paterson, Stephen Ratner, Sogoal Salari, Cassie Averbuch, Amanda Ferber, Emily Lieberman, Aliya Sanders, Deidre Kalenderian and Lily Kim.
