Limited Raises $18.5 Million Seed
Gunderson Dettmer represented Limited in its $18.5 million seed financing. The round was led by North Island Ventures, The House Fund, and Collab+Currency with participation from ParaFi Capital, Pharsalus Capital, Digital Currency Group, 1982 Ventures, Onigiri Capital, Arche Capital, and SevenX Ventures.
Limited is a global corporate banking platform that provides bank accounts, credit cards, accounting, and remittance services, enabling customers in 158 countries to spend, save, invest, and transact globally through more than 300 traditional financial rails and on-chain stablecoins across major blockchains. The company will use the new capital to make senior hires across go-to-market, operations, and compliance, expand local payment corridors in Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East and North Africa, and introduce additional treasury features for larger, multi-entity companies.
“The problem is simple,” said Limited founder and CEO Hussein Ahmed, in his LinkedIn post announcing the transaction. “A company operating across Mexico, Dubai and Hong Kong still moves money through slow wires, opaque FX and a patchwork of local banks, losing money even on transfers between its own entities. Limited puts it all in one place.”
The Gunderson deal team was led by Ibrahim Elshamy and included Vard Danielyan and Alyssa Tamboura.
