Andreessen Horowitz Leads Lightfield’s Series A

Gunderson Dettmer represented Andreessen Horowitz as the lead investor in the Series A financing of Lightfield. 

Lightfield is building a CRM for the agentic era, with a flexible data model that builds itself from emails and calls and AI agents that help manage record updates, follow-ups, handoffs and reporting.

“In a world where context is the rate limiter, Lightfield delivers a compounding context moat,” Andreessen Horowitz said in the announcement of the transaction. “Customers have noticed. Since launching late last year, thousands of companies have adopted Lightfield. … As one operator put it after moving off the largest incumbent: ‘If you’ve only ever ridden a horse, the only thing you ever want is a faster horse. Well, this is a car.’”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Jeff Stricker and included Eugene Kim, Aaron Rubin, Matthew Porcelli, and Ambreena Ladhani.
