Sogoal represents emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles and works closely with founders, executive teams, and boards on the legal and strategic decisions that drive their businesses. She counsels a wide variety of technology and life sciences clients across healthtech, hardware and robotics, medical devices, consumer, enterprise software, and financial technology, guiding them from incorporation and early financings through later-stage growth and strategic transactions.

Sogoal’s practice is built on long-term relationships, working side by side with teams from their earliest stages through multiple financing rounds and key milestones as businesses grow. Founders and executives turn to her for clear, practical guidance on issues that blend corporate law, governance, and strategy as their companies evolve. 

In addition to her company-side practice, Sogoal maintains an active investor-side practice representing venture capital firms in investments across all stages of financing, from seed to growth to pre-IPO rounds. Her work on both sides of the venture ecosystem gives her a deep understanding of the priorities of founders and investors as companies and portfolios mature.

Prior to joining the firm, Sogoal was a corporate associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she represented high-growth technology companies and venture capital investors.
