Plaid, a developer of a financial and banking services platform, has acquired Quovo. Quovo runs a similar platform on the investments side of the financial services business.

In the blog post announcing the deal Plaid’s co-founders Zach Perret and William Hockey said “In acquiring Quovo, we are extending our capabilities to a wider class of assets. Our goal is to make money easier for everyone, and doing so requires that we consider consumers’ financial lives holistically. We are excited to work with the Quovo team to enable this.”

The Gunderson Dettmer deal team was led by Ivan Gaviria and included Jerry Ku, Andrew Luh, Mark Foster and Gina Marek, with special counsel Michael Richman and associates Valerie Lau, Vikki Nguyen, Rebecca Pugh, Laurel Fedder, Cassie Averbuch, Lily Kim, Alex Khachaturian and Benjamin Gould.
