Gunderson Dettmer represented client GoCardless, a direct payment solutions platform, in its acquisition of Nordigen, an open banking provider. This acquisition will enable GoCardless to accelerate its open banking strategy and open up self-serve access to account information services to more users.

In the announcement of the acquisition, CEO and Co-founder of GoCardless Hiroki Takeuchi said, “The Nordigen acquisition will take us to the next level.
