Gunderson Dettmer client and networking and security system provider announced its $40 million Series C financing. The round of funding was led by CRV with existing investors Formation 8, Ignition Partners and Liberty Global Ventures participating.

In the announcement of the funding Aviatrix CEO Steve Mullaney said, “Aviatrix gives enterprise IT an architecture to provide a common set of networking, security and operational services across one or more public clouds. We’re seeing unprecedented demand from some of the largest organizations, and this latest funding will enable us to extend our demonstrable market leadership even more quickly.”

The Gunderson Dettmer deal team was led by Scott Dettmer and included Brian Willbur and Amy Luong.
