Turning practice experience into practical AI adoption

Amy advances how Gunderson Dettmer delivers legal services, through technology and knowledge. As a Director of Innovation Engagement on the firm’s Knowledge Management & Innovation team, and drawing on her experience as a practicing attorney, she works with lawyers across the firm to adopt and leverage AI tools in their practices, making drafting and diligence more efficient and giving deal teams better tools to support their work on a day-to-day basis. She also helps shape how Gunderson Dettmer evaluates and adopts new tools over time, so clients experience faster turnaround, deeper access to the firm’s collective experience, and lawyers are better equipped to focus on the work that is most impactful to our clients.

Grounded in venture and emerging-company deal work

Amy joined Gunderson Dettmer in 2018 as a corporate and securities associate in the San Francisco office, representing startup and emerging growth companies and venture capital investors on formation, governance, venture financings, and M&A across consumer internet, biotech, software, telecommunications, and entertainment technology.
