Gunderson Dettmer represented client Trifacta, a San Francisco-based data engineering cloud platform, in its acquisition by analytics automation company Alteryx for approximately $400 million. The acquisition of Trifacta accelerates Alteryx’s aim to provide large businesses with an integrated end-to-end, low code/no code analytics automation platform in the cloud.

In the announcement of the transaction, CEO of Alteryx Mark Anderson said, "Trifacta brings game-changing integration with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and purpose-built architecture for all three major public cloud providers, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure.
