Gunderson Dettmer represented Thrive Capital as it led the $150 million funding round of Vimeo, a professional video platform.

In the announcement of the transaction CEO of Vimeo Anjali Sud said “Our goal is to radically simplify how businesses create and share video, with tools that are far more intuitive and cost-effective than they’ve been historically. We’re energized to access additional capital to pursue this enormous opportunity with the full focus and scale of the Vimeo platform.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Ryan Purcell and Wenli Cai and included Jace Clegg, Khadijah Owens, Tina Xu, and Katie Gardner and Laura Chao.
