Stack Overflow $1.8B Acquisition by Prosus

Gunderson Dettmer represented client Stack Overflow, an online community platform for programmers, in its $1.8 billion acquisition by Prosus. Stack Overflow will continue to operate independently, with the exact same team, plan and business practices.

In the announcement of the transaction, CEO of Stack Overflow Prashanth Chandrasekar said, “We are excited to be joining the Prosus family, which catapults us into a new phase of growth and allows us to expand and accelerate Stack Overflow's impact around the world.
