Gunderson Dettmer represented client Mundi, a fintech platform for cross-border trade, in its $15 million Series A-2 financing led by Haymaker Ventures. Providing services for small and medium-sized businesses, Mundi’s platform is designed to access capital, exchange currencies, and reduce the risks of trading internationally. The company will continue to consolidate itself as a fintech platform that simplifies international trade.

In the announcement of the transaction, Mundi Co-Founder and CEO Martin Pustilnick said, “We have discovered that exporters, importers and logistics companies face multiple problems related to their payments, collections, FX management and insurance on top of financing. Over the last 18 months we have launched different products to solve each of those needs. Our clients want to solve all these problems under one platform and that’s what we have been building for them.”
