Gunderson Dettmer acted as counsel to Lightspeed Venture Partners and Altimeter in the $585 million Series D financing of Udaan, a network-centric B2B trade platform based in Bangalore.

In the announcement of the financing Lightspeed partner Bejul Somaia said, “The market opportunity is turning out to be much deeper than we envisioned when Lightspeed led the company’s Series A financing in 2016 and we’re excited to continue supporting the company while welcoming a strong syndicate of new investors.”

The Gunderson Dettmer deal team was led by Jonathan Pentzien and Greg Volkmar and included David He and Vanessa Ho.
