Ecliptic Capital Leads $6M Series Seed Financing of Lazarus 3D
Gunderson Dettmer represented Austin-based client Ecliptic Capital as it led the $6 million Series Seed financing of Lazarus 3D, a developer of a medical technology that designs prototypes of soft models similar to human tissue. The company focuses on creating 3D models of human organs that enable doctors to effectively rehearse operations and improve surgeries and medicine.
In the announcement of the transaction, Co-founder of Lazarus 3D Smriti Zaneveld said, “The goal for the funding opportunity is to have the financial backing to bring this technology to the market, capture the market and grow our team and our verticals.
The Gunderson deal team was led by Wes Watts and included Ben Cukerbaum and Alex Devine.
