Gunderson Dettmer client Datrium, a virtual server flash storage system designed to simplify the multi-cloud data lifecycle, announced its acquisition by VMware.

In the announcement of the transaction CEO of Datrium Tim Page said, “By joining forces with VMware, we’ll be able to accelerate our roadmap plans to support all the major cloud platforms, work with a broader partner community, including more than 4,400 members of the VMware Cloud Provider Programme, and deliver more innovation faster.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Michael Irvine and included Colin Chapman, Michael Richman, Robin Stenerson, Anna Westfelt, Lily Kim, Laurel Fedder, Brad Brown, Shu Hu, Matt Weber, Michelle Lee, Scout Moran and Meredith Burke.
