Gunderson Dettmer represented clients Coatue and Thrive Capital in the Series D investment of Gong.io, a startup providing an “intelligence platform” for enterprise sales teams. Coatue led the round with participation from Thrive Capital. The round also saw participation from Index Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Battery Ventures, NextWorld Capital, Norwest Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, and Wing Venture Capital.

In the announcement of the transaction CEO and cofounder of Gong Amit Bendov says the new capital will be put toward fulfilling demand for Gong’s products and reinforcing the firm’s leadership as it invests in product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.

The Gunderson deal team was led by Greg Volkmar and Ryan Purcell and included Anna Westfelt, Shawna Reeder, Stephanie Lane, Anjuli Schlievert and Jamie Firth.
