Gunderson Dettmer represented client BehavioSec ®, an advanced behavioral biometrics technology provider, in its acquisition by RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. BehavioSec’s technology uses behavioral analysis authentication to establish identity trust and help prevent fraud. The company will join the Business Services group within LexisNexis ® Risk Solutions, a part of RELX, to enhance its device and digital identity-focused offerings.

In the announcement of the transaction, CEO of BehavioSec Dr. Neil Costigan said, “I am looking forward to discovering the next phase in the evolution for behavioral biometrics alongside a successful, innovative company looking to further evolve our advanced capabilities.”
