Keith J. Scherer

Keith specializes in corporate and securities law; IPOs and public offerings; mergers and acquisitions; corporate governance; and venture capital financings. Keith works with clients across a broad range of industries, including life sciences, software, internet, big data, retail, telecommunications, hardware, and energy and clean technology. Keith represents clients at all stages of their life cycle, from incorporation to exit, with an emphasis on working with public companies and late stage private companies. 

Keith has represented both corporations and investment banks in numerous initial public offerings and complex capital market transactions. He regularly advises late-stage private companies on a wide variety of topics relevant to the IPO process. Keith also advises clients in complex corporate governance matters, disclosure matters and strategic transactions.
