Before rejoining the firm, Nathan served as General Counsel of Traceable, an API security and AI company, where he built the legal function from inception, led international expansion, and helped guide the company through a significant acquisition. Nathan previously held General Counsel roles at D2iQ (formerly Mesosphere), a cloud‑native and open‑source infrastructure company, and at Atlas, a consumer fintech startup. Earlier in his career, he practiced at the firm in the IP and corporate partnering group, representing early‑stage startups and investors in technology and commercial transactions.

Nathan is known for his pragmatic, business‑focused approach to risk. Having sat in the GC seat through M&A, international expansion, and IPO readiness, he counsels leadership teams on balancing growth objectives with regulatory, data, and contractual constraints, and on clearing issues that stall strategic deals.

Nathan received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Harvard Law Review. He holds an A.B. with honors from Brown University.
