Gunderson Dettmer represented client WeRide, a Chinese startup developing autonomous vehicles, in its $200 million Series B financing round led by Yutong Group.

In the announcement of the transaction, WeRide said that it would develop autonomous minibuses, city buses and other commercial vehicles with Yutong.

The Gunderson deal team was led by Zhen Liu and included Huihui Cai, Cheryl Lin, David Cao and Jianxiong Chen. Bennett Yee and Bradley Krack also provided additional support to the company on other corporate matters.
