Gunderson Dettmer represented client Tiger Global as it led the $44 million Series C financing of Guandata, a Chinese business intelligence solutions provider. The company aims to develop decision-making by providing customers with its AI+BI next-gen intelligent data analysis platform and mature data analysis practices applied in the retail industry.

In the announcement of the transaction, founder and CEO of Guandata Su Chunyuan said, “The proceeds from the Series C round will be used to deepen the firm’s products matrix, upgrade client systems and construct key ecosystems.”

The Gunderson deal was led by Zhen Liu and included Kai Sheng and Sherry Zhang.
