Gunderson Dettmer represented client Tiger Global in its investment in the $165 million Series C financing of PathAI, a global provider of artificial intelligence-powered technology.

In the announcement of the transaction, co-founder and CEO of PathAI Andy Beck said, "We want to build a platform that can cover all disease areas where anatomic pathology—which is the analysis of microscopic images—plays an important role. This funding will allow us to really cover the full spectrum of diseases that we're aiming to cover."

The Gunderson deal team was led by Steve Baglio and included Bennett Yee, Mark Oblad and Jake Winton.
