Spruce House and Tiger Global Co-Lead $55M Series A Financing of A.Team
Gunderson Dettmer represented The Spruce House Partnership and Tiger Global as co-lead investors, along with Insight Partners, in the $55 million Series A financing for A.Team, a gig marketplace for product engineers. The company’s platform connects companies and product builders through cloud-based teams to design and/or bring new products to market. The new capital will be used to expand A.Team’s platform.
In the announcement of the transaction, Founder and CEO of A.Team Raphael Ouzan said, “A.Team is popularizing the concept of elastic resourcing by way of cloud-based teams, which will make companies and builders more resilient to potential market downswings. It’s a smarter way to scale for growth. The power dynamics have changed, and the best and a lot of the top tech talent in the world want the freedom and flexibility to work on what matters to them, not the rigid structures of a full-time job.”
The Gunderson deal team was led by Randall Clark and included Jeff Stricker, Malikah Fulton, Alex Khachaturian and Joe Rabionvitsj.
