Gunderson Dettmer represented client Raine Venture Partners as an investor in the $120 million Series D financing of Jackpocket, a developer of a mobile lottery app. Jackpocket will use the new capital to expand its team with new talent to help support the company and expand across international markets.

In the announcement of the transaction, founder and CEO of Jackpocket Peter Sullivan said, “Our success over the past 12 months highlights our ability to reach the broadest base of lottery player possible, and we’ll use this funding to continue to grow and innovate the platform with new types of gameplay.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Bradley Krack and Jeffrey Higgins and included Jordan Murray and Leanne Gould.
