Gunderson Dettmer represented client Monk’s Hill Ventures in its participation in the $15 million Series B financing of ELSA, an AI-based English learning app, which was co-led by the Vietnam Investments Group and SIG.

In the announcement of the transaction, partner at Monk’s Hill Ventures Justin Nguyen said, “We are delighted to join VIG and SIG to further support ELSA’s mission of enabling education and economic opportunities for the 1.5 billion English learners worldwide.”
