Gunderson Dettmer represented client MilkRun, a subscription service delivering weekly grocery staples sourced from small, local farms, in its $6 million Series A financing led by Spark Capital. The new funding enables MilkRun to expand its delivery service and launch new products.

In the announcement of the transaction, founder of MilkRun Julia Niiro said, “Our model is to increase profits by helping small farmers get more of their goods purchased. Like the traditional milkman model, people buy directly from the farm and have it delivered. This next wave of the food industry will be how to reduce the middle.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Bennett Yee and included Matthew Weber, Maurice Osei, and Jamie Firth.
