Gunderson Dettmer represented client Latitud, a community-led tech company based in Latin America, in its $11.5 million Series Seed financing co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and NfX. Latitud aims to help early-stage entrepreneurs with company formation, accessing cross-border capital, cap table management, and access to advice from operators and tech leaders. The new capital will help the company continue the development of its programs and future product offerings. 

In the announcement of the transaction, Co-founder and CEO of Latitud Brian Requarth said, “Our plan is to become a SaaS/fintech company. Our vision is to help an entrepreneur spin up a company, create a bank account and get all the essential tools they need to operate a business. We want to become the operating system for every venture-backed startup in LatAm.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Daniel Green and included Oh Sung Kwon, Scott Kaplan, and Jamilah Mena.
