Gunderson Dettmer client and Mexican small-business lender Konfio raised $100 million in a new financing. The funding round was led by SoftBank and with participation from existing investors QED Investors, Kaszek Ventures and Vostok Emerging Finance Ltd.

In the announcement of the funding Konfio investment relations director Gregorio Tomassi told Bloomberg that the fresh funds will be used to expand working-capital loans and introduce new products.

The Gunderson Dettmer deal team was led by Dan Green and included Bradley Krack, Katy Alexander, Catherine Kwon, Jessica Furr and Travis Glock.
