Kapor Capital Becomes One of the Largest Black-Led VCs with New $126M Fund
Gunderson Dettmer represented client Kapor Capital, a Black-led venture capital firm in the announcement of its $126 million new fund. Kapor Capital’s mission is to invest in impact-focused startups that help create an equitable society. The company will use its new capital to invest in pre-seed, stage-seed, and Series A startups that align with the company’s mission.
In the announcement of the fund, co-leader of the new fund and managing partner of Kapor Capital Brian Dixon said “Sometimes when people hear ‘impact’, they hear ‘subpar returns.’ They hear tradeoffs of impact versus returns.
