November 3, 2021Client News

Gunderson Dettmer represented client Hallow, an audio-guided meditation and prayer app, in its $40 million Series B financing led by Drive Capital. The new capital will be used to grow the company’s team and continue partnering with faith-based creators to improve the app’s content by increasing the number of free meditations and adding new languages.

In the announcement of the transaction, partner at Drive Capital TJ Dembinski said, “Hallow is an incredible mission-driven company that has already enriched the lives of so many people; and the amazing part is that Hallow is only getting started. The global pandemic has accelerated the embrace of digital technology in every industry and in all aspects of our lives, and religion is no different. Hallow has a massive opportunity to bring faith into the hands of 1.3 billion Catholics around the world, as well as anyone in search of peace and comfort in their lives. We are excited to lead the Series B and proud to support the Hallow team as they continue to do their amazing work.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Andy Bradley and included Paul Sullivan and Chase Beckstead.
