The NVCA General Counsel Advisory Board recently unveiled updates to its model legal documents with input from corporate partner Ivan Gaviria. The updates are the first changes to the documents since 2014. Ivan joined the Advisory Board in 2017 as a founding member with other inside and outside general counsels to venture capital firms. The General Counsel Advisory Board is responsible for maintaining and updating the model legal documents and provides guidance to NVCA on legislative and policy issues. 

Ivan is also a member of the NVCA's HR working group, which is tasked with developing best practices for NVCA member firms.
