Two Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP lawyers were honored recently by leading law publication the Daily Journal.

Scott Dettmer: Among his major deals last year, Dettmer guided United Kingdom-based software provider Ubiquisys in its acquisition by Cisco Systems Inc. for $310 million. He also advised Whiptail, a provider of solid state memory systems, in its $415 million acquisition by Cisco.

Mike Irvine: Irvine was on the team that represented Current TV in its sale to Al-Jazeera last year. He was also lead counsel for small cell company Ubiquisys Ltd. in its sale to Cisco Systems Inc. for $310 million in April and earlier in the year advised data storage company Whiptail on its $415 million sale to Cisco as well.
