This year, the focus is on the dynamic tapestry of art contributed by African Americans—a rich blend reflective of Black, African, and Caribbean American lived experiences. Artists use their creations to preserve history and empower the community. Influential movements like the Black Arts, Black Renaissance, hip-hop, and Afrofuturism, led by people of African descent, have set global trends. In 2024, join us as we explore the diverse history and life of African American arts and artisans.
