Gunderson Clients Investment in Chime

Gunderson Dettmer represented clients Coatue, Tiger Global, Whale Rock Capital and Dragoneer in the $485M Series F financing of Chime, a mobile banking platform.

In the announcement of the transaction CEO of Chime Chris Britt said,  “We’re more like a consumer software company than a bank. It’s more a transaction-based, processing-based business model that is highly predicable, highly recurring and highly profitable.”
