Reuse Raises $21 Million Series A

Gunderson Dettmer represented Reuse, a Chilean refurbished-technology startup, in its $21 million Series A financing led by At One Ventures. 

Reuse started by buying used phones from U.S. insurers to refurbish and sell in Chile, then shifted to a B2B model running trade-in programs for the region's biggest retailers and brands. When a customer trades in a device, Reuse receives it, diagnoses it with its own software, refurbishes it, and resells it. 

The company will use the new capital to begin operations in Colombia, deepen retailer integrations, and invest in technology.

The Gunderson deal team was led by Dan Green and Federico Varni and included Vikram Dharasker and Maria Jose-Brinton.
