Gunderson Dettmer represented Chile-founded client NotCo, a plant-based food technology company, in the announcement of its $70 million Series D extension led by Princeville Capital. The round included participation from Bezos Expeditions, Tiger Global, L Catterton, and Kaszek Ventures.

NotCo uses artificial intelligence to produce plant-based meat and dairy substitutes that looks, smells and tastes the same as animal-based products. The company’s fundraising totals $305 million, and this latest round will be used for business-to-business, co-branded licensing agreements.

The Gunderson Dettmer deal team was led by Bradley Krack and Dan Green and included Lily Kim, Greg Kinzelman, Federico Varni, Thomas Graham, Micaela Cervantes, and Charlie Hughes.
