Finix Raises $30M Series B Extension

Gunderson Dettmer represented client Finix, a startup that provides payments-related services to other companies, in its $30 million Series B extension led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and American Express Ventures. The round will be used to double Finix’s team of 85 people by mid-2021.

In the announcement of the transaction co-founder and CEO of Finix Richie Serna said, “We want to basically be the payment provider for a company at any stage of their high growth or stabilized growth perspective.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Randall Clark and included Jace Clegg, Brian Russell and Alex Stillman.
