Gunderson Dettmer represented client Dragoneer and Greenoaks Capital as they led the $325 million Series E financing of Scale AI, a San Francisco-based startup that specializes in helping companies label and curate data for artificial intelligence applications.

In the announcement of the transaction, CEO of Scale AI Alexandr Wang said that the company is currently on track to earn $100 million in revenue in a 12 month period and that sales have doubled in the past year.

The Gunderson deal team was led by Steve Baglio and Ryan Purcell and included Mark Oblad, Andrew Burchiel, Neal Rooney, Aliya J. Sanders and Khalil Nobles.
