Gunderson Dettmer represented client Cityblock Health, a startup improving health care for low-income patients with complex medical needs, in its $160 million Series C financing led by General Catalyst. The new funding will go to both expanding geographically and to further developing the technology that the company uses to track patients’ needs and coordinate their care.

In the announcement of the transaction co-founder and CEO of Cityblock Iyah Romm said, “This moment in time, as hard as it is for all of us, has only reinforced the need for home-based care, for virtually delivered care, and for trust-based care.”

The Gunderson deal team was led by Hilary Adams and included Ryan Purcell, Rosie Stein, Skylar Polansky, Ray Koh and Amanda Ferber.
