Gunderson Dettmer represented client Betterfly, the purpose-driven benefits platform offering no-cost life insurance coverage, in its $60 million Series B financing from partners of DST Global, QED Investors, Valor Capital, Endeavor Catalyst and the SoftBank Latin America Fund.

In the announcement of the transaction, Betterfly announced they plan to expand across Latin America. Betterfly Founder and CEO, Eduardo della Maggiora, said “We want to democratize access to physical, mental and financial wellbeing, and empower people to become the best version of themselves while making an impact on their families and communities.”
